The day has finally come! This week, Winchester Homes broke ground on the very first home at Poplar Run in Montgomery County. Construction has begun on the townhome building that will include our future model home.
Poplar Run, which was formerly known as Indian Springs Country Club, is located off Layhill Road and will include a variety of amenities for residents to enjoy. We are currently selling off-site at Clarksburg Village while our models are being built. Poplar Run, Montgomery County's new master planned community, will have a full-service 6,000 square foot clubhouse located near the entrance of the community. Winchester Homes has recently commissioned a detailed rendering that would show what amenities would be offered here. The preliminary sketch below shows an excellent viewpoint of the three pools that will be onsite. The pool closest to the clubhouse will be a wade-in recreational pool, the smaller round pool will be for small children and the furtherst one is a competition lap pool.
The clubhouse will also provide a tot lot, volleyball sand court, limited service snack shop, and an open area where residents can enjoy picnics or a pick up game of football. Take a look at the image below and let us know what you think!

However, at the sales launch this weekend for Poplar Run, one of the key reasons future homeowners were comfortable sitting at the contract table was because of the positive experience they had with the Winchester employees who volunteered their time throughout the weekend to help with the event. The homebuyer said that they were trying to decide between two different home styles and after talking to the sales team, they were able to finally make up their mind. Other prospects waited in line to talk to the Your Home. Your Way. design team. They spent hours working one on one with clients discussing the various changes that can be made to the floorplans to make their new home truly something special.
Poplar Run will feature a variety of single family homes and townhomes. Prices start from the mid $500's for the single family homes and from mid $300's for the townhomes.
